Prop 19 in California

On November 2nd,  Prop 19 will be on California’s state ballot. Prop 19 states that a person(s) who is 21 years old,  may possess up to 1 ounce of marijuana legally. It also states that you can only use marijuana in a private residence or a public establishment that is approved to do so. I think Prop 19 passing will lower the crime rate, and keep our society sane. Last year alone 829,000 people were arrested from possession charges alone, not including trafficking charges (over 2 ounces). In my opinion, I hope Prop 19 passes.

Unfortunately, it didn’t pass. I wanted it to pass also. I did a project on if marijuana was legalized, what good things it would do for the country…and it was alot. The U.S would also make lots of money from taxes on it, and the things you stated. Hopefully, it will pass in the future.
